Especially by wordless picture books. They can be mindblowing. I just discovered The Red Book by Barbara Lehman, which I never even knew existed but I just loved. And I'd never actually read David MacCauley's Black and White before either. That was another amazing headtrip. I did send in votes to the Top 100 Picture Book Poll last year, but now that I've found so many great new books I'm not sure my votes are still accurate!<br /><br />My favorite new picture book from this year is probably Shark vs. Train though.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
