Don't get me wrong: I've read all four of Stephenie Meyer's books and even liked them in a guilty pleasure kind of way (well, except for Breaking Dawn, which lost me). But I'm also a big Buffy the Vampire Slayer fan, and in a pinch, I know who I'd vote for! I enjoyed this video! Thanks for posting it. I would have been just fine with Twilight had it been a singular guilty pleasure with an ambiguous ending.
Heehee. Of course these days, whenever I think of Twilight, I remember being in the movie theater watching Edward rip off his shirt to show how he glimmers in sunlight, and an old lady two rows back saying loudly, "He looks like a Chippendales dancer!" (My friend's daughter prefers the glitter lipgloss analogy...)
Adrienne says that the glitter-scene in the film makes Edward look as if he has a skin disease you wouldn't want to catch, rather than looking like alabaster. I think it has something to do with the hairy chest.
